The ByScoop is a large-bore sample bypass extractor for sampling and analysis loops. It is specifically designed to ensure optimum representivity for cell samplers, water-in-oil monitors, densitometers and other on-line analysers. ByScoops fully comply with the sampling standards and are available in ANSI 150-1500 pressure ratings to suite pipelines from 8" to 48”.

The withdrawable ByScoop is designed for installation in pressurized lines by ‘hot-tap’. It is available as a simple take-off or with an integral return at the pipe-wall to eliminate bias in the bypass loop. The withdrawable ByScoop can be removed under line conditions for pigging.
