Three crude oil samplers

Jiskoot have recently shipped three CoJetix crude oil samplers to Independent Inspection Services AB (IIS), Gothenburg, for installation at the Preem, Gothenburg and Lysekil refineries.   The crude oil samplers will replace the manifold samplers that were previously installed in the loading arms.  The CoJetix samplers, that sample a wide range of crude oils, have been ordered by IIS, the Swedish inspection company as part of their contract to provide custody transfer cargo inspection services for both refineries.    The Crude oil samplers are designed to be installed in the horizontal 32 inch pipelines from the Jetty to the Refineries.  Designed to fully comply with the mixing and sampling requirements of ISO 3171, the crude oil samplers have a measurement uncertainty of better than +/-0.025% providing indisputable evidence in the event that the quality of a cargo needs to be disputed.   Each sampling system includes a Jiskoot JetMix, a 210 cell sampler to ensure highly accurate grab samples, and on-line performance monitoring system to ensure compliance with the sampling standards. The Jiskoot InSight control system has an integrated GSM function that provides a series of automated SMS messages to operators on their mobile phones for total control of operations.  The system also includes Jiskoot sample receivers and a laboratory mixing system to ensure the samples are representative right up to the point of analysis.
